- Take breaks

To avoid facing such problems, take a 5-minute break after 2 hours or every hour. During that 5 minute break, try to roam around, drink some water, wash your face and go to the restroom if you have to.
- Avoid drinking too much water
Another thing that you need to do is make sure you are not drinking a lot of water. If you are in a hurry and you want to save as much time as you can, these tips from driving lessons Calgary can really help you with that. Drinking too much water can force you to take a number of restroom breaks, which you could easily take 5 minutes.
- Bring a neck pillow
The third thing that the driving practice test Calgary advises you to do is make sure that you guys are bringing a neck pillow with you during your long drive. Doing this will help you keep your neck straight and it would have some soft things to rest on. This is a good thing to have when you are driving for over 6 hours.
- Drink coffee or Red Bull
During your breaks, you want to make sure that you are drinking something that could keep you awake. Red Bull and Coffee can do the trick for that. But before you take such things, make sure you are allowed to take them. If you have medical conditions, it’s better to take a bus, train, or plane that that city.
